Hello, and welcome! I am an Assistant Professor with the Center for Strategic Deterrence Studies at the Air War College.

Previously, I was a postdoctoral research fellow at The University of Chicago and the Nuclear Proliferation Fellow for the Chicago Project on Security and Threats. I earned my Ph.D. in Political Science and M.A. in International Studies from the University of South Carolina.

My research and teaching interests are in international security. I am broadly interested in U.S. strategies of counterproliferation and extended deterrence and more specifically interested in the effectiveness of positive inducements in arms control. To this end, I actively collaborate on projects that explore nuclear deterrence, reversal, and latency.
